Sunflower Seeds Gift in Nature
66Sunflower Seeds Gift of Nature
Sunflowers make beautiful garden flowers
Hello there, TrudyVan here,
I believe that Sunflower Seeds are a Gift from Nature.
I plant sunflowers in my garden every year. I plant only a few at a time every
three days. The reason for planting seeds like this is that I have a continued
supply of fresh sunflowers and seeds throughout the summer. The wild birds eat
the seeds, my pet birds eat the seeds and I eat the seeds.
I do not spray chemicals onto my sunflowers and they are safe to eat. As my pre-lunch snack, I eat one handfull of sunflower seeds and a bananas and later on in the evening, I will have a couple of more sunflower seeds with a banana, just to keep my energy levels up.
The sunflower loves and need the sunlight as much as what we do. They even turn their large yellow flowery heads towards the sun. Sunflowers make beautiful garden flowers especially when planted in a group next to a wall that gets lots of sunlight.
I prefer to grow my own sunflowers, but it is impossible to grow enough for the
amount I require, so I go to my local health shop and purchase my shelled seeds
there.
Sunflowers are also one of the main crops grown in South Africa during the summer
months. Fields of bright yellow petals and green leaves. I do a lot of travelling and I love to travel in summer and pass the fields of sunflowers.

Beautiful hub and photographs. Great hub. When I was a boy I planted some. They grow really big. God Bless You.
You are right - sunflowers do make me happy! And the seeds are so good. I like to add them to a salad.

I was already signed off for the evening and somehow stumbled upon this hub. After reading, I just had to sign back in to comment. What a great little hub. I absolutely love it. I love the idea of planting seeds every three days so that you will have an ongoing supply of flowers all summer long.
I also love the fact that you are not using chemicals and that you eat the sunflower seeds with bananas. I learned so much.
I agree with the fact that sunflowers make you happy. Yellow happens to be my favorite color as it resembles healing for me.
Great Job, Great hub!

A garden just isn't complete without sunflowers seeds as far as I'm concerned! They are so cheerful and sunny! We don't usually eat the ones we grow, but often feed them to the birds in winter. Good info. Thanks.
Thank you TrudyVan, for an awesome hub on sun flowers, very informative. thank you for sharing it. Godspeed. creativeone59
