Ncandu River Newcastle South Africa Floods Zebra Washed Down River

Hello there, TrudyVan Here

The Ncandu River in Newcastle South Africa, Bursts its banks due to the high levels of rain received in the area.

A Zebra get caught in the storm surge and washed down river and got caught in the bushes. The Animal Cruely tried desperately to save it.

Due the to shock and the battering the Zebra experience whilst being washed downstream, plus the cold water and exposure they could not save the zebra. When they were finally able to get hold of it and they started to pull it out it passed away.

The spectators and members of the dedicated Animal Protection Units were deeply saddened by the fact that with all the hours of trying to free the Zebra from the bushes and the branches that had implaled it, in the raging river, that the Zebra did not survive.

It lets a person think about the wild life, the animals that get caught unawares when the Ncandu River boarst its banks got washed away. How many have lost their young, their burrows and their lives.

The loss estimate of any flood cannot never be truely calculated because no one knows what animals were taken by the raging rivers.

I give thanks to all those dedicated people that are willing to help in any situation at a drop of a hat.

Kindest Regards
TrudyVan
