Dried Grass and Flower Arrangements

 Hello there, TrudyVan here

I love to visit the surrounding mountains and grasslands to collect grasses and flowers that grow there freely.

In the summer months our mountains are alive with grasses and wild flowers of every colour, size and shape.  I collect small bunches of a particular grass and tye them together.  I lay them on a flat surface and wait for them to dry.  You can also hang them upside down to dry

I used a clay pot and put in a small piece of oasis into the clay pot.  Put in bunches of different grasses.   Put the taller grasses at the back and work to the front.

Add in a couple of dried flowers around the front of the pot.

You now have your own unique dried grass and flower arrangement.

You can use any grass and flowers that grow in your area or you can purchase dried grasses and flowers from your local florist.

Let your creative juices flow and just add until your vase or pot is full.  Place on a table with a lovely cloth.    You will get the most amazing comments.

Be unique by creating your own inexpensive arrangements.  You can also spruce up your arrangement throughout the year.

Hope this has inspired you to create Your own masterpiece.

kindest regards
